As if they are deserving of respect because they break apart the world with their roughened hands. god, I am so bored of masculinity. it is as predictable as the sequence of traffic light; green, yellow, red.”

See the lithe boygod, dazzling in his might as he moves through the darkened penthouse, (good god, good god watch him writhe on the floor) the grace of his step, poised like the great Nijinsky, nude against the dying backdrop of the city as night falls. Madness and brilliance were entwined inside of the dancer; the boygod is no different. The boygod is Nijinsky reincarnated. In the pursuit of outward perfection, the gods failed to include morality in the mortal soup, the composition of my love. He is sadness and selfish and arrogant and deadly loving and kind angry and generous hungry and starved but he moves with the fatal passion that drove Nijinsky into madness and isolation, never to dance in public again.””

I want to start every poem as ‘the world’ as if I’m addressing the entirety of it instead of only speaking to you which is what I’m actually doing
I want to say that heaven is as wide and blue as your eyes, eyes that watch me undress. Eyes that seek out every click that spells my name. I want to be as undressed as heaven, as open wide.
To be pressed upon your secret I am drenched in the thought of you pursuing me through labyrinths of digital desires where television static resembles speech patterns of robotic recordings answering machines leaving cryptic messages in slurred speech from the back of the bar where I saw your name and number written on the wall

This entire earth is a bedroom where I rest my head and sigh at the wonderment of your sky hovering above me in perpetual, mirthful light.

At this altitude, I do not even need wings to fly. I kiss the lips of lovers whose dreams float above the naked bashful moon. Your light is
like golden silk tumbling down for all to grasp between curious fingertips.

Each golden strand ties me to you and pulls me close to whisper all the secret desires that dwell in the darkness between the stars which breathes quietly while others sleep watching their dreams stir above their heads and creep through the velvet evening as though on spiders legs.

I miss you. Come dream with me. Sleep with me. I miss you.

The Lion, The Lizard.
What a scream, what a face. The thoughtful poetry and the decadent debauchery; his humor and humility. ‘Legend’ doesn’t even begin to describe him. When I think of him, my mind scrambles to find a single word, but too many, and many that are in contrast, suit his mercurial nature.

Others have tried to imitate him, but they can’t equal his mystery, depth, or sexual magnetism.

Nostalgia is a riderless horse
whose pounding hooves beat
echos of cerulean dust into
your bloodstream.

Summer beat heavily upon the doors of the trailer park home but we sealed ourselves from the world in a bedroom quartered off by Mexican blankets and towers of books. You played George Harrison over and over willing me to get it but I was still sleeping on him thinking how Trent Reznor was so much better and I don’t know maybe I’m still wrong or possibly right but now George’s voice wails through my speakers more. This was the summer that we discovered love in a movie theater soda cup. Sticky and terribly sweet. Do you remember that?

I watch it careen past
hallways and borders,
